A client was having some trouble with their wi-fi connection, which I fixed, but after discussing what it was that they really wanted out of their computer setup what I ended up doing was to provide a low-cost laptop which is now used for entertainment connected to their TV.

I set up a system where they can:

• watch the latest TV via the laptop but on their big screen TV at their own convenience
• surround sound
• streaming
• music system via the laptop
• help with digitising an extensive CD music collection
